Mayor Ryan Sorenson recently attended the US Conference of Mayors 90th Annual Winter Meeting in January 2022. Mayor Sorenson is a member of their Transportation Committee and the International Affairs Committee. The US Conference of Mayors is a national non-partisan organization that is made up of mayors from all across the United States. Mayors come together to advocate for key issues that are impacting their cities, such as infrastructure, water resiliency issues, and supporting small businesses just to name a few. The US Conference of Mayors played a major role in ensuring the passage of the Infrastructure Bill. Mayor Sorenson was one of the 374 mayors that signed onto a letter supporting the bill and advocated for its passage.
