Sheboygan, Wisconsin – June 24, 2024 – The City of Sheboygan is pleased to announce the appointment of Travis Peterson as the new Director of Public Works, effective July 8, 2024, pending final approval by the City Council. This appointment fills a crucial leadership position within the city administration and brings a wealth of experience in environmental management and economic development to Sheboygan.
Travis Peterson joins the City with over 25 years of environmental experience, specializing in managing complex and environmentally sensitive construction projects. His expertise spans soil, groundwater, sediment, and vapor contamination, as well as the design, installation, and oversight of remedial actions and mitigation systems.

Peterson’s experience includes:
