The City of Sheboygan finds runoff and erosion from land developing activities and land disturbing construction activities greatly impacts the amount of sediment and other pollutants that enter the waters and rights-of-way of the state and the City.
The City of Sheboygan has adopted an ordinance under the authority granted by Section 62. Wis. Stats., and applies to land disturbing construction activities and land developing activities on land the boundaries and jurisdiction of the City of Sheboygan.
The Department of Natural Resources Wisconsin Construction Site Best Management Practice Handbook is adopted by reference and shall become a part of this ordinance, a copy is on file in the offices of the City Building Inspector at 828 Center Avenue and Public Works/Engineering at 2026 New Jersey Avenue.
