Tall Grass/Snow Removal A representative from the Public Works Department will follow-up on your request in a timely manner.
Abandoned Vehicle, Grafitti, Garbage, Dog Issues – A representative of the Police Department will assign a case number and notify you of the neighborhood officer that will be handling your request.
Wheel Fee – Current registration for vehicles subject to the wheel fee that expire on February 1, 2016, or later will be charged the fee; new registrations for vehicles subject to the wheel fee will be charged the fee if the first date of operation is February 2, 2016, or later.
For autos and light trucks, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation registration fee will include a $20 fee collected on behalf the City of Sheboygan. Any person who gives a false or fictitious location where a vehicle is customarily kept may be fined not more $200 or imprisoned not more than six months or both (Section 341.60, WI Stats.)
What will the Wheel Fee collections be used for?
According to the General Ordinance approved by the Common Council implementing the fee, “all monies remitted to the City by the State Department of Transportation pursuant to Section 341.35, Wis. Stats., shall be directed for use by the City for operation and maintenance of the streets within the City. All monies remitted shall be used for labor and material only, no monies shall be used for equipment purchases.” To read the full ordinance, please click here.
How to report issues with your Wheel Fee?
If the vehicle location information on the renewal notice incorrectly shows Sheboygan, and the wheel fee is not due, please contact WisDOT webage at: (http://wisconsindot.gov/Pages/dmv/vehicles/title-plates/wheeltax.aspx or
